Dell Inspiron 1526 to HDTV connection using HDMI - NO AUDIO
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. The PC to TV connection was tried without the home theater and with it, both inspion there is only video and no audio.

I tried for hours to mess with settings while trying to stream video from hulu but it just wouldnt work until I tried it with mozilla firefox.
Did it have Windows installed previously and was sound working then? This should solve the issue. Bought Dynex 32 from Best Buy I'm working-class.

Alright, so I'm having all sorts of issues here. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. Hope if works for you guys. I've been through all the "sticky's" and the forums trying to find the solution myself to no avail.
How satisfied are you with this response? You need to add audio cables when connecting hdmi. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get it working.

Divya R Replied on Audii 9, I tried using the audio cable and that didn't work either. Hope you find a solution. This connection is producing the desired results. I have a Sony DVD player and home theater hooked up to the TV which is working fine, in terms of both audio and video.
